@Flamingo, exactly, often times some people will not react well to raw milk, due to high level of bacteria (good and not so good) so it can be a good idea to use, as you post, low heat, (160 F for 15 secs, not tottally bad). in regards to the coconut milk, make sure you use the best quality possible, they can add some stabilizers to it and often time they grind coconut shavings to add bulk, that fiber can be disagreeable to some people.
@flamingogo90 i don’t think it is bad, if you do low heat pasteurization, no reason for raw milk here. just use grass fed low heat pasteurized milk. they sold in health food stores.
Isn’t pasteurised milk bad for health? It feels kind of pointless using raw milk for cooking, but i do use raw milk because i’ve heard that pasteurisation involves a much harsher temperature and procesing technique. other than that, great recipe(: i’ve done sth similar before with coconut milk instead, sooo good!
