The Great Milk Deception

Cow’s milk is bad for us. There is more to cancer promotion by dairy foods than IGF-1. Most dairy products are high in saturated fat – and fat is the number one suspect when it comes to the cause of most common cancers in Western societies (for example, breast, prostate, colon, kidney, pancreas). You can easily replace cow’s milk with healthy natural substitutes such as soya, rice, almond, or coconut milk.

  1. The word milk sounds just as calming as this guy voice. Maybe he’s full of shit.

  2. Stop raising cows and growing soy and corn to feed those cows (and humans)

Instead, separate the marijuana plant from hemp and grow hemp seeds for ….

    It’s many nutritient-dense, super-food qualities, such as:

    Fiber
Protein (complete amino acids; high-quality and second to soy in amount per gram)
    Fatty Acids (omega 3a, 3, 6, 6a)

  4. When speaking out on milk without really understanding it, -it would be better to bring health and dairy experts on board. I am a cheesemaker and your speech reflect a gross misunderstanding of milk biology, practices and processes. Not distinguishing bad from good milks is like putting a video out there claiming that all sugar is bad without distinction of wholesome fruit juice and cane sugar in cookies to highly processed candy or soda. Sounds like a mishmash of out-of-context internet quotes.

  5. @AdventMessage ah, and by the way, don’t fall for the big-dairy raw milk scare tactics. Raw milk is sold safely and legally in many advanced and progressive nations. It’s not some out-of-control wild substance as they would like you to think; It is highly regulated, supervised and tested. This isn’t 1847; we now know how to milk hygienically, chill rapidly, use food grade material, and lab-test milk. In fact statistically it’s safer than lettuce, tomato and sprouts; killing dozens in 2011 alone

  6. @AdventMessage Soy milk is downright dangerous. Almond/soy “milks” don’t taste or behave like milk; They are highly processed, modified foods substitutes. Real milk is a perfect healthy, nutritious, delicious food. It is beneficial for growth, bone structure, immune, digestive, respiratory, muscular and neuron systems. It is Rich with proteins, sugars, amino acids, pro biotic bacterium, minerals and enzymes. A staple of human diet for 8000 years. Just avoid the industrial supermarket horror.

  7. Thanks for your comments, hms2008g. I don’t understand why more people don’t drink soya milk, or almond milk, or rice milk. Drinking cow’s milk is playing Russian roulette. You never know what you’re drinking. You’re right, no one would even think of drinking rat’s milk. Rats milk is for baby rats. Once the rat grows up they like cheese…and little girls ankles :)

  8. gr8 video sir!

  9. Unfortunately, raw milk falls in the category of animal product. Even though you may suppose that raw milk is better, it is still subject to infections from diseased animals. There are so many other alternatives to cow’s milk. Have you ever had the soy milk by the Silk brand? It’s delicious. I particularly enjoy the vanilla flavor.

  10. does that count for raw milk?
